What to do with the want for a button
Name the want. I want to sit again. Then name the clock you wrote. Then name whether the clock has ended. If it has ended, the want is late. Late wants belong on paper, not on a table. Tomorrow the scoreboard will still offer Points, Deals or Pool. It will not offer a repair for tonight.
If the want is coming from someone else in the room, the board includes them. A communal seat is a communal risk object. Close it or stop sharing it. The delete-account note exists for retirement. The chat exists for a written request. Neither is a start bar.
Keep ink, room, and sentence. Keep the numbers boring. Leave.

Close the laptop on a named minute
Pick a minute on the clock on the wall. When it arrives, close the laptop. Not after one more hand. Not after the pool seat survives. The named minute is the whole control. If you miss it, write that miss on the same paper as the ceiling. A miss is data. Data is how the next evening gets a shorter ceiling rather than a longer chase.
Tell one person in the household the named minute. Secrecy is already a failed limiter. If you cannot tell them, that inability is the finding. Use a helpline if the inability is fear. Use the chat if you need a written closure. Use neither to ask for a table.
If the named minute arrives during a deal, finish only if the bound locked you in, then stand up. If the bound did not lock you, leave mid-hand. A priced drop exists in Points for this reason. Deals may have locked the door, which is why you chose the bound before the want arrived.
